About the Role
As an Area Manager youll be the driving force behind exceptional care. Youll lead teams across multiple residential programs ensuring young people receive culturally informed therapeutic support that truly changes lives.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and Inspire: Manage and develop Care Leaders and Practitioners across multiple residences.
- Drive Quality: Ensure compliance with all regulatory departmental and organisational standards.
- Grow the Region: Oversee the development of new programs and services aligned with funding and care goals.
- Champion Culture: Embed cultural practices and values across your teams.
- Support Your People: Lead recruitment onboarding supervision and succession planning.
- Be Present: Maintain a visible leadership presence across all sites; minimum once per month per residence.
- Represent MANAWISE: Engage with stakeholders lead meetings and contribute to policy development.
About You
Youre already a passionate advocate for young people and a trusted leader within MANAWISE. You bring:
- A strong track record in residential care leadership
- Relevant Qualifications ideally a Bachelors degree in Community Services Social Work Psychology Human Services or a related field.
- Deep understanding of trauma-informed care and the Child Protection Act 1999
- Current Blue Card First Aid drivers licence and police check
- Ability to Obtain a Licensed Care Services Suitability Screening.
- Completion of Hope and Healing training
- Most importantly your values-aligned team-focused and ready to take the next step in your leadership journey.
