Quality Control Coordinator

We have successfully delivered large infrastructure projects across Canada since 2001. Our leadership and expertise span the entire value chain from research and development through construction operation and maintenance of projects. Currently involved in some of Canadas largest infrastructure projects ACCIONA delivers solutions that contribute to the economic and social progress of the communities in which it operates.

• Conduct on-site and off-site quality inspections and witness testing activities to verify compliancewith project specifications and Inspection & Test Plans.
• Monitor construction progress and workmanship to promptly identify and resolve quality issues.
• Overseeing testing of materials and structures such as concrete strength tests soil compaction tests and other relevant tests.
• Perform inspections on delivered materials and equipment to confirm conformity with approvedsubmittals and quality standards.
• Ensure all construction activities follow the specified ITPs including the identification andexecution of hold and witness points.
• Maintain review and update comprehensive records of inspections including dates findingstest results and corrective actions.
• Document and report any deviations or Non-Conformances in materials workmanship orprocesses to the Quality Lead.
• Verify that corrective actions for identified Non-Conformances are effectively implemented andclosed.
• Check and verify the certifications qualifications and accreditations of workers subcontractorsand equipment to ensure alignment with project requirements
• Support field teams with immediate feedback and guidance on quality issues ensuring swiftrectification of minor defects before escalation.
• Collaborate with construction teams to promote best practices for quality assurance andcompliance.

• Have the qualifications demonstrated by certificates of training and experience on transitconstruction projects.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes materials and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting project specifications drawings and Inspection & TestPlans.
• Experience with quality inspection tools testing methods and documentation practices.
• Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements codes and construction standards.
• Ability to identify document and manage Non-Conformances and corrective actions.
• Clear and professional communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams contractors and stakeholders.
