In this position you will prepare coordinate and contribute to the delivery of branch reporting requirements including external and public accountability documents.
Maintaining strong relationships across the branch and within Te Tari to take an enterprise view to the delivery of work is critical.
On a day-to-day basis the work is varied and may include supporting OIA or Official Correspondence activities contributing to status reports collating internal reporting and contributing to branch risk management and business assurance activities alongside supporting branch initiatives.
The key skills and capabilities required for this position include:
- Experience contributing to planning monitoring and reporting on business performance in the public sector
- Experience in establishing and maintaining a wide range of effective relationships of government and the application of these
- Ability to coordinate corporate accountability efforts such as risk management reporting compliance activities and governance arrangements and provide advice to deliver effective results
- Ability to work with ambiguity and can confidently use initiative when dealing with a broad range of complex evolving information
- Proactive approach with judgement about when to seek input from others and when to escalate
