Applications are invited for appointment as Lecturer in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref.: 533650) to commence on July 1 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter on a two-year fixed-term basis with the possibility of renewal.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree with a strong record of teaching. Preference will be given to those with expertise in counselling and clinical social work practice particularly in the areas of mental health youth or family and with five years of direct practice experience. The appointee will be responsible for teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and is expected to be active in practice research and educational innovations.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totaling up to 15% of basic salary as well as annual leave and medical benefits.
