Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders and People teams to implement the People Strategy across the Area.
- Build strong relationships with leaders and act as their main point of contact and advisor on all people matters.
- Drive the local delivery of the annual HR Cycle including performance management compensation succession planning and development.
- Ensure compliance with Australian employment legislation including the Fair Work Act Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
- Provide expert advice on complex employee relations and industrial relations matters including investigations grievances and disciplinary processes.
- Collaborate with the Area People team to resolve complex cases and ensure consistent delivery of people processes.
- Use real-time people insights and analytics to identify opportunities for improvement and support data-driven decision-making.
- Deliver training and workshops for leadership teams and employees on various People-related topics.
- Champion diversity equity and inclusion initiatives across the business.
We Are Looking For
- Solid understanding of HR fundamentals including organisational development talent management employee engagement recruitment performance management compensation and employee relations.
- Strong knowledge of employment law industrial relations and workplace legislation in Australia.
- Experience in large international organisations with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.
- Proven ability to manage sensitive and complex ER/IR cases with sound judgment and discretion.
- Strong facilitation coaching and change management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously while fostering collaboration and teamwork.
- Flexibility and adaptability to deliver results in a fast-paced evolving environment.
- Resilience and a proactive mindset to navigate ambiguity and change.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
