Overview:
An independent school in Dartford is seeking an experienced School Business Manager to join their leadership team. Starting January 2026 this role is key to ensuring the financial operational and administrative success of the school.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the schools budgeting and financial planning
  • Oversee HR operations including recruitment payroll and staff wellbeing
  • Ensure compliance with health safety and statutory requirements
  • Support the Headteacher and Governors in strategic planning
  • Develop and maintain administrative systems to enhance efficiency

Requirements:

  • Substantial experience as an SBM or in a senior management role

  • Excellent leadership interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities proactively
