Core responsibilities

Client consultation: Meet with clients to understand their travel preferences budget and trip goals.

Itinerary planning: Design customized travel plans and packages booking all necessary components such as flights hotels and tours.

Booking and reservations: Make all reservations for transportation lodging and activities using global distribution systems (GDS) and other booking software.

Destination advice: Provide clients with expert advice on destinations including local customs must-see attractions and practical information.

Document management: Assist clients with travel documents such as visas and passports and advise on necessary vaccinations and insurance.

Customer service: Handle client inquiries manage bookings and resolve any travel-related issues or emergencies to ensure a smooth trip.

Relationship building: Build and maintain relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Essential skills and qualifications

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency with travel booking systems and software.

Knowledge of the travel industry including destinations trends and regulations.
