Power Systems Applications Engineer you will:
- Lead the customization implementation and delivery of Advanced Energy Management System (AEMS) applications for transmission networks.
- Work on Power System Analysis functions such as Load Flow Contingency Analysis and Power Factor calculations.
- Collaborate with Electric Utilities ISOs and TSOs to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical designs and solutions.
- Develop enhance test and integrate Power System applications ensuring robust performance and reliability.
- Engage directly with customers to troubleshoot issues provide technical support and ensure seamless solution delivery.
- Adhere to change management and compliance processes while coordinating customer calls implementation reviews and system updates.
What You Bring to the Table:
- 5 years of hands-on experience in implementing and customizing Energy Management Systems (EMS/AEMS) preferably including advanced transmission applications.
- Strong understanding of Power System Analysis techniques and transmission network behavior.
- 5 years of experience in C and/or Java development for application software.
- Solid working knowledge of Linux and Windows environments.
- Experience working with Electric Utilities ISOs or TSOs is highly desirable.
You should possess the ability to:
- Analyze customer needs and propose technically sound power systems application solutions.
- Design and implement efficient scalable and reliable application modules.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders across engineering and customer teams.
- Debug and optimize application performance to meet operational requirements.
- Work independently while also collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.
