About the opportunity

We invite applications from enthusiastic self-starters with good mechanical aptitude to join our team at Detmold currently seek a Machine Operator working in our Self-Opening Satchel team working night shift you will produce bags for many well-known retail and industrial to the Production Supervisor and based at our Brompton site your primary role will be to ensure consistent production while maintaining high standards of product quality and workplace safety.

What youll do:

Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to safety requirements.
Perform machine setup in accordance with product specifications.
Maintain machine run speed and efficiency at target levels.
Minimise machine downtime through good manufacturing practice.
Collaborate with and support team members to improve team performance.
Record production activities and actively communicate issues to supervisors.

What youll need:

A serious commitment to workplace safety and the ability to lead by example.
Ability to work with integrity display initiative and be a reliable team player.
An understanding of and commitment to achieving quality and efficiency targets.
Good mechanical aptitude and a preference for hands-on work.
Experience in similar environments will be viewed favourably including operating machines performing machine setups and carrying out minor maintenance tasks.

We currently have full-timeroles to work Sunday to Thursday on night shift.
