ABOUT THE ROLE
Join AMSA as an Advisor HR Operations and make a real this pivotal role youll provide expert advice on complex HR issues partner with senior leaders and help shape a positive workplace culture. Youll lead on employment and workplace relations coach managers through sensitive matters drive the implementation of our Enterprise Agreement and champion improvements in HR operations. With responsibilities spanning payroll delivery strategic HR initiatives and data-driven reporting youll be at the heart of AMSAs missionsupporting safe and clean seas and saving lives.
HR Policy Performance and Wellbeing is a small team within the People and Property branch responsible for delivering a range of HR functions including performance management payroll advice on terms and conditions and WHS. We take a customer-centric approach to deliver our services in a fast-paced environment.
The Advisor HR Operations works across many operational HR functions with a focus on working collaboratively with senior leaders and colleagues in HR to develop strategies and provides hands on support to resolve a range of people related matters. This role also leads AMSAs payroll function which is delivered via a managed service arrangement.
With a new Enterprise Agreement on the horizon the HR Operations Advisor will take the lead on a range of implementation activities including system changes policy development and education for staff and managers.
