Job Summary

Take full ownership of our React Native app as it evolves into the core platform for customer and broker journeys.
Write clean maintainable TypeScript/React Native code with strong attention to secure-by-default practices.
Design implement and own significant parts of the app architecture (navigation data/domain layers module boundaries native integrations).
Collaborate with product design and backend engineers to ship end-to-end features integrating APIs and ensuring a smooth cross-platform experience.
Build with a security mindset: threat modelling least-privilege data access and careful handling of sensitive financial data.
Instrument monitor and support what you build: analytics structured logging crash reporting performance profiling and alerting.
Contribute to CI/CD code reviews automated testing and continuous refactoring to keep the codebase healthy.
Attribution: practical experience with SKAdNetwork AdAttributionKit App Tracking Transparency (ATT) and Meta attribution flows.
Mentor and support other mobile engineers; help drive best practices within a collaborative cross-functional team.

Qualifications :

Around 5 years of professional software development with significant current commercial experience in React Native (TypeScript).
Proven delivery of production apps on both iOS and Android with deep platform knowledge (tooling app lifecycles app store processes).
Secure mobile development fundamentals: encryption in transit/at rest Keychain/Keystore usage safe storage & transport of sensitive data and familiarity with OWASP mobile guidance.
Authentication & authorisation: working knowledge of standards such as OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect and robust session management on mobile.
Strong testing discipline: unit and component tests running in CI; comfort maintaining test suites as the app scales.
Backend integration experience (REST/GraphQL) including auth flows resilience and error handling.
Production ownership: telemetry debugging incident mitigation and post-incident improvement (runbooks feature flags/kill-switches).
Clear considerate communication and a collaborative approach to working with product/design/QA and other engineers.
Must be available to start immediately.

Nice-to-haves:
Deep React Native expertise large-scale apps modern architecture upgrades to the New Architecture and hands-on performance optimisation.
Strong platform experience deep linking push notifications analytics experimentation and mobileweb feature parity.
Proven delivery quality CI/CD pipelines automated testing (Detox) and large-scale release management.
Solid security and privacy mindset safe logging secure storage and privacy-by-design practices ideally in fintech or regulated environments.
Interest in AI-assisted development and agent-based tooling to accelerate delivery and code quality.
