- Develop and optimise tank offstream repair and upgrade scopes to reduce cost whilst delivering safe reliable and compliant assets.
- Work with internal stakeholders (e.g. Operations Engineering) and external contractors to ensure tank repair methodologies are optimised.
- Provide detailed planning and scheduling for tank maintenance works.
- Provide technical support for the planning and execution of tank maintenance activities to ensure best practises are being applied effectively and drive compliance to regulatory requirements and company procedures.
- Travel to Viva Energy Terminals across Australia to support tank inspection and maintenance works.
- Identify and implement improvements to tank maintenance processes and procedures.
Qualifications :
About you:
- Degree qualified in engineering or trade qualified with extensive industry experience.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the oil and gas petrochemical mining or similar heavy industry sector.
- Solid technical knowledge of tank inspection and tank maintenance processes and requirements (e.g. API653)
- Experienced with planning and scheduling of maintenance or construction works (Primavera P6 experience highly desirable).
- Able to positively influence a diverse stakeholder group that includes senior management engineering operations and contractors.
