  • Location Maitland preferred however all DPIRD office locations will be considered

The Future Jobs and Investment Authority team are on the lookout for their next Project Manager.

Reporting to the Manager Governance This role sits within the FJIA Governance team supporting strategic initiatives and governance frameworks that underpin the FJIAs operations and compliance obligations. You will contribute to the development implementation and continuous improvement of governance procedures aligned with legislative requirements and organisational priorities

Working in collaboration key stakeholders some of your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing project plans interpreting legislation into practical governance processes consulting with internal and external stakeholders and supporting governance reporting and documentation
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Providing regular project updates.
  • Developing and maintaining all necessary project documentation including governance frameworks risk registers policy reviews and providing secretariat functions.

To succeed in this position you will be a motivated self-starter who takes responsibility and ownership for delivering results.

Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) advanced stakeholder management abilities (across internal and external groups) and a comprehensive understanding of project governance and risk management are also required.
