Role overview
We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our Transactional team. The role will provide broad paralegal support across a variety of transactional matters with a particular emphasis on preparing reviewing and managing non-disclosure agreements (NDAs). Experience with other documentation relating to corporate finance or commercial transactions is highly valued. Working shift will be aligned with New York business hours from 2:30pm to 10:30pm UK time.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare review and manage NDAs and related transactional documents ensuring legal accuracy and consistency.
- Support coordination of transactions liaising with clients lawyers and third parties to facilitate smooth and timely execution of mandates.
- Proactively manage document checklists monitor compliance and deadlines and serve as a central point of contact for transaction stakeholders.
- Assist with due diligence processes record management and transaction bibles with an emphasis on accurate documentation rather than post-completion administration.
- Oversee completion processes for transactions and maintain comprehensive and up-to-date records.
- Address client and internal queries regarding documentation and contribute to effective transaction delivery.
- Provide regular updates on transaction progress and anticipated next steps.
Candidate requirements
- LPC / SQE / foreign-qualified lawyers
- At least two years relevant paralegal experience in a leading law firm or legal team with direct experience of transactional processes and a strong focus on drafting and negotiating NDAs.
- Sound understanding of legal documentation transaction management and compliance processes.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks independently exercising sound judgement and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills able to build constructive relationships at all levels.
- A thorough and proactive approach with a strong focus on attention to detail accuracy and efficient delivery.
- Willingness and ability to work New York hours (2:30pm to 10:30pm UK time).
