Position Title
eMRO Data Entry Representative
Abbott Rapid Diagnostics is part of Abbotts Diagnostics family of businesses bringing together exceptional teams of experts and industry leading technologies to support diagnostic testing which provides important information for treatment and management of diseases and other conditions.
The position of Data Entry is within Toxicology located at Gretna LA at Alere Toxicology Services. This role is responsible for entering donor demographic information into the OCR computer system in accordance with the SAMHSA mandatory guidelines and those of other regulatory organizations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Data entry for donor demographic information into the OCR system.
- Correctly file laboratory chain of custody forms.
- Facilitate resolution to entry errors and system malfunctions.
- Review and verify chain of custody forms in accordance with established SOPs.
- Operate equipment to scan chain of custody forms into OCR system.
- Perform outbound call to clinics to obtain missing information in COC form.
- Additional functions may include sorting in Accessioning scanning and filing chain of custody forms.
- Adhere to all security procedures for ensuring confidentiality of donor information
- Must comply with company policy
- Observes legal and ethical guidelines for safeguarding patient and company confidentiality (HIPAA)
- Other duties as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION:
- Completed at least 2 years in College or with an Associate or Bachelors Degree
- Ability to type 50-55 wpm with extensive 10-key experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Basic Excel Word and Outlook experience required
- Strong Computer/Software Skills
- Detail-oriented
- Must be flexible to work on a night shift (between 6pm to 10am) Philippine Standard Time.
- Must be amenable to work on Overtime or during Rest Days when business requests for additional (paid) hours
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
