Job Summary

Grants Pass School District No. 7 is now accepting applications for the following temporary position for the 2025-2026 school year:

Location: Transportation

Position: Bus Monitor

Hours: 8 hours per day

Temporary employees are defined as employees hired for a specific period not to
exceed the equivalent ofninety (90) consecutive working days.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade.
Must be able to effectively communicate with students of various ages and abilities.
Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions; make entries on reports and records.
Must be able to maintain all training certificates related to First Aid/CPR administration. Must possess a current Oregon Operators License issued by the State Department of Motor Vehicles.
Bilingual and biliterate in Spanish preferred.

Upon selection employees will be required to pay for the following: $12.50 fingerprinting fee and $70 ODE fingerprinting processing fee.

STARTING SALARY: $19.25-$27.80 per hour. Dependent on approved accepted experience/education.
