Job Summary
Place of work: Forus / Stavanger onshore and offshore
Duration: From January 2026 until 31.12.2026 (with possible extension to end of 2027)
The client is seeking a motivated and skilled Well Intervention Engineer/Supervisor to join the Light Well Intervention team. This role combines engineering and planning onshore with site supervision offshore primarily on the Island Constructor light intervention vessel.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Develop safe efficient and cost-effective well intervention programs in compliance with the clients governing documents and applicable regulations.
- Ensure intervention designs meet operational objectives and incorporate a full life-cycle perspective addressing well integrity safety and performance.
- Execute intervention engineering activities onshore and provide offshore supervision as required.
- Monitor operational progress and implement corrective actions to ensure safe and successful delivery.
- Support procurement processes including preparation of specifications and evaluation of technical tenders.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies company procedures and relevant regulations throughout all phases of intervention work.
Deliverables
- Prepare well intervention programs aligned with the companys Well Delivery Process.
- Act as company representative offshore serving as Drilling & Well (D&W) Supervisor during operations.
- Capture and follow up on lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate intervention documentation reports and operational data.
- Contribute to Final Well Reports and facilitate post-job reviews to implement key learnings.
Qualifications
- Relevant . degree (relevant experience may compensate for formal education).
- Solid technical understanding of D&W planning and operations.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
