Job Summary
Drilling & Well Planning Engineer
Contract Period: 04 January 2026 03 January 2027
Option Period: 2 x 6 months
Location: Stavanger or Bergen

About the Project / Department
The Drilling & Wells (D&W) department is responsible for planning and execution of interventions plug & abandonment (P&A) drilling completion and subsea operations for new wells on fixed platforms and mobile installations. We are currently looking for engineers to join our drilling and well planning teams. These teams support the Well Construction Process and D&W operations.
Tasks and Responsibilities
The engineer will be responsible for planning and design work related to the planned operations including (but not limited to):
- Providing key planning for execution of drilling and well activities
- Supporting and following up on ongoing daily operations
- Performing experience transfer and well reporting
- Working in teams with other disciplines performing method selection risk assessment and recommending required equipment
- Offshore travelling on request
Competence Requirements
- Masters or Bachelors degree within relevant technical disciplines
- Valid Offshore Safety Course (required for some roles)
- Valid IWCF certification (required for some roles)
- Compliance with internal competence requirements
