Accountabilities:
The Well Integrity Engineer is the single point authority for disciplinary assurance and focal point for D&W technical integrity across all phases of the well lifecycle - from planning and operations to production and plug & abandonment (P&A).
The Well Integrity Engineer is responsible for ensuring that Drilling & Wells activities are compliant with national and international rules and regulations as well as industry best practice and that our processes reflect this expectation.
Main Tasks:
Own and manage well integrity from the design phase through P&A for all operated wells
Work closely with QAQC function to ensure appropriate quality levels are implemented for well integrity related activities
Maintain networks in external industry forums like WIF P&A forum etc. to allow knowledge sharing
Update and manage assigned critical documents such as the Well Integrity Manual
Maintain and update well barrier documentation and data
Drive and support initiatives aimed at achieving and sustaining Best-in-Class well integrity and operational performance
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field. Masters degree is preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in well integrity well construction well intervention and/or production operations
Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements regarding well barrier integrity and P&A
