Position Title: Bio Medical Equipment Technician
Location: New York NY 10037
Shift: Day (8:00 AM 4:30 PM)
Position Type: Contract
Pay Rate: $29/hour

Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bio Medical Equipment Technician to support the maintenance and reliability of medical equipment in a healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in troubleshooting repairing and calibrating a variety of biomedical devices to ensure optimal performance and patient safety.

Responsibilities:

Perform preventive maintenance troubleshooting and repair of biomedical equipment.
Conduct equipment calibration and functional testing in compliance with established standards.
Collaborate with clinical and technical staff to address equipment issues promptly.
Maintain accurate service records and ensure adherence to safety regulatory and quality standards.
Assist in evaluating new equipment and provide technical support as needed.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Biomedical Equipment Technician or in a related technical role.
Strong knowledge of biomedical instrumentation electronics and safety standards.
Excellent diagnostic communication and organizational skills.
Certification such as CBET (Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician) preferred but not required.
