Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to critically ill patients
- Assess and manage patient conditions effectively
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Utilize advanced medical technology and equipment
- Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Stay current with best practices in critical care medicine
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans
Requirements
- MD degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Arizona
- Experience in critical care medicine is preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Commitment to continuous professional development
Schedule: 12-hour day and night shifts
Call: Occasional night call coverage
Multiple facility locations
Patient Census: Up to 30 per day
Procedures: Central lines arterial lines intubation chest tubes etc.
Support Staff: APPs nurses respiratory therapists administrative staff social workers
EMR: Cerner
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
Paid travel & lodging
