Internship Term: Summer 2026 (May 11 or June 1 - August 21)
Commitment: Full-time
Location: Onsite in Somerville MA

The job:

Develop and test materials settings for peak performance (speed surface quality supports etc)
Evaluate current material setting performance to identify areas for improvement
Design and execute experiments using results to inform and develop improvements in software or hardware
Learn and operate high accuracy measurement equipment to validate your projects

You:

Well-organized good time management and excellent attention to detail
Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Communicate test results effectively and in a timely manner
Experience with data analysis
Experience with experimental design
Experience working with protocols/SOPs
Enthusiastic and interested in 3D printing

Bonus Skills (Optional):

Basic understanding programming and scientific computing ideally Python and/or Matlab
Familiar with mechanical design and CAD modeling (Solidworks/OpenScad/Onshape a plus)
