Responsibilities

As an Arrow Marine Welder you will be responsible for the welding service maintenance and repair of small to large commercial marine vessels.

Major Responsibilities include:

Maintain safe working conditions and adhere to Occupational Health and Safety regulations
Follow all workplace safety policies and compliance regulations participate in identifying hazards.
Communicate any unsafe conditions or accidents/injuries in a timely manner to the supervisor in order to facilitate prompt correction or reporting.
Comply with all rules and regulations protocols and established metrics.
Read and interpret drawings blueprints and welding process specifications.
Operate welding equipment and manual flame-cutting equipment.
Conduct repairs modifications and retrofits.
Assist in development of repair estimates.
Monitor parts usage and report on any material issues.
Maintain a working knowledge of changes in welding compliance practices and techniques
Ensures accuracy and completion of assigned tasks and projects.
Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations decrease turnaround times streamline work processes and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.
Ability to effectively and efficiently prioritize daily work.
Accurate completion of work orders and time cards.
May be asked to cross train on other/all functions at facility
Other assigned work as required.

You Possess

Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) tickets (minimum C ticket).
Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience required.
Proven All Position Welding abilities in Steel and Aluminum (CSA Standard W47.2) & MIG (GMAW) Processes.
Experience in Flux Core (FCAW) & Stick (SMAW) All Position Welding Processes will be considered an asset.
Fabrication experience will be considered as asset.
