Responsibility:
Cybersecurity & Compliance
* Develop and maintain system security documentation including security plans control implementation summaries and boundary diagrams.
* Monitor and adapt to evolving CMMC and DFARS requirements ensuring internal policies and procedures remain compliant.
* Lead assessment readiness efforts by coordinating cross-functional teams managing timelines and reporting progress to senior leadership.
* Draft update and implement cybersecurity policies procedures and training materials based on assessment outcomes.
Infrastructure & Systems Management
* Oversee the computing environment by identifying system requirements installing upgrades and monitoring performance.
* Perform hands-on upgrades and maintenance of hardware and software across workstations and servers.
* Integrate technology solutions into business workflows to enhance productivity and efficiency.
* Research design and implement cost-effective IT projects to meet emerging organizational needs.
* Maintain accurate infrastructure documentation and change management records.
* Provide weekly written status reports to the Chief Engineer and President.
Technical Duties:
* Collaborate with users to define system specifications based on workflow access and security needs.
* Ensure compliance with NIST standards including Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) isolation protocols.
* Plan and execute installation configuration and testing of PC/server hardware software LAN/WAN networks and system management tools.
* Monitor and optimize system performance through analysis tuning and stress/load testing.
* Troubleshoot hardware software and network issues escalating to vendors when necessary.
* Develop and test disaster recovery plans manage system access controls and maintain backup protocols.
* Design and deliver user training programs including reference materials and ongoing support.
* Collaborate with vendors to evaluate and implement system upgrades and new software solutions.
* Build and maintain internal databases and software applications ensuring reliable data backup processes.
* Partner with the Facility Security Officer (FSO) to meet all compliance requirements.
Salary: $120000 - $140000
Qualifications:
* Current IT security certification (CISSP preferred)
* Knowledge of:
oSystem administration and standards development
oLAN management
oNetwork hardware and configuration
* Proven ability to:
oTrain users across technical and non-technical disciplines
oManage multiple tasks and respond to on-call needs
oCommunicate effectively in writing
* Willingness to work extended hours when necessary
* Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for (or currently hold) a U.S. Department of Defense security clearance
