Job Summary

SUMMARY

Installs and repairs irrigation lines and systems electrical controllers evaporation/transportation gauges and rain sensors. Coordinates activities with other trades shops building engineers and contractors.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Four years of irrigation or related experience.

Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.

Knowledge of plumbing codes.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE

FBI fingerprint background check.

Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles) or proof of MMR immunization.

Post-offer/pre-employment physical examination and 75 test.

Backflow and Reclaim Water required after hire.

Must hold a current Arizona Drivers license and have accrued no more than the allowable points against Drivers License as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB-R-1 Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees.

Work Calendar: 12 month

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
