Are you an experienced Accounts Payable professional looking for a rewarding opportunity Join VMCH as an Accounts Payable Officer on a 12-month maternity leave contract and play a vital role in supporting our end-to-end accounts payable processes. Your contribution will help maintain VMCHs financial stability and robust financial controls.
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Leader youll work closely with internal stakeholders including Procurement Accountants and Operational teams to ensure timely and accurate financial operations that align with VMCHs goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Process supplier invoices accurately and on time
- Manage weekly payment runs and ensure all payments are accounted for
- Handle supplier queries and resolve issues promptly
- Set up new vendors and maintain existing vendor records
- Administer corporate credit cards and manage credit limits
- Facilitate employee reimbursements
- Support AP-related month-end tasks and meet deadlines
- Assist with internal and external audit requirements
- Contribute to process improvements and policy development
Quality & Compliance
- Adhere to VMCH Quality policies procedures and relevant legislation
- Protect sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
- Commit to workplace health and safety standards
About You
Essential Selection Criteria:
- Proven experience in accounts payable
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and large-scale accounting software
- Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
