TheFinance Transformation Project Manager will be assigned to project Operate and will develop project management plan and establish project goals and objectives for related activities & projects of medium complexity and larger financial impact. The incumbent will also recommend and participate in improvement initiatives as well as provide day-to-day leadership for team members.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Coordinate regular touchpoints with key stakeholders.
Liaise with corporate functions and leaders.
Work on problems of diverse scope where a better understanding of theory and broader knowledge is required.
Execute project roadmaps.
Validate or monitor research & developmental aspects of project to ensure compliance.
Develop project management plan and establish goals and objectives for projects of limited scope and financial impact.
Manage the human financial and operational resources necessary to meet contractual and company related obligations of the project to ensure profitability.
Resolve project work/scheduling problems by reprioritizing activities.
Evaluate potential project risk and develop mitigation plan.
Implement project work breakdown structure.
Control project schedule and cost.
Execute the project review cycle process.
Analyze and validate budget changes.
Monitor and control the billing milestones schedule.
Validate and approve budget and schedule change orders.
Maintain the project budget at completion.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in job-related field.
Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience managing complex projects including at least 2 years in a project management role.
PMP certification is a strong asset.
Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with project management tools.
Ability to collaborate across various organizational levels and support leadership teams.
A results-driven mindset with a strong focus on achieving project objectives.
Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability.
Autonomy in task execution and decision-making within established frameworks.
Flexibility and agility in managing priorities adapting to evolving needs and project urgency.
Bilingualism (French and English) is required.
