General Description
Process insurance agent contract and commission selling agreements and obtain and maintain multi-state license appointments in compliance with the applicable state laws and insurance regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the initial renewal and termination of producer state licenses andappointments
- Process producer contract and commission selling agreements
- Maintain all producer records and information; Maintain details and database to ensure licenseappointments are renewed on a timely basis
- Processes required forms or information tocancel agents changes internal records and notify all organizations on a timely basis
- Compile business correspondence and manage telephone calls in a professional manner toproducers/agents regional offices and state insurance departments
- Effectively organize assignments manage workflow and meet deadlines
- Performs all other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or management
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- College degree in Business or equivalent business experience
- General knowledge of insurance licensing and registration laws desired
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task with excellent attention to detail.
- Must be able to use time efficiently to carry out set goals and objectives
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in writing or orally
- Strong written and verbal communications skills with ability to develop and maintain rapport with professionals at all levels
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Internet
