Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking an experienced Computer Investigations and Forensics Division Task Manager to join Peratons Federal Strategic Cyber Mission program.
Location: Arlington VA; On-site
In this role you will:
- Serve as the contractors task manager overseeing personnel and activities supporting the Computer Investigations and Forensics Division.
- ProvideSubject Matter Expertiseregarding methodologies and acceptable practices regarding the seizure imaging and acquisition analysis and reporting of recovered digital evidence.
- Interface and coordinate with Government leads with key focus on effective efficient and compliant contractor support.
- Execute proper staffing providing appropriate qualified and sufficient contractor resources to meet specified requirements.
- Establish work duties and schedules and address work discrepancies.
- Supervise and communicate program policies purposes and goals to subordinates. Formulate and enforce work standards.
- Develop anddeliver strategicmodernization plans including milestones timelines budget estimates and recommended technologies.
- Be able to participate in presentations and speaking engagements to and with the Government and Peraton leadership.
- Perform quality control; ensure contractor performance meets established performance standards.
- Monitor track and report on the status of contractor activities.
- Identify promote and implement process improvements.
- Provide oversightand resource planning for:
- Advanced Digital Imaging and Forensic Analysis
- Data Integrity Chain of Custody and Compliance
- Information Technology Operations and Maintenance
- Information Technology Architecture and Administration
- Investigative Support
- Knowledge Transfer
- Information Technology - Cloud Engineering Support
- Provide expertise in applicable subject matters for Peraton growth and strategic outcomes.
Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
- Minimum of 12 years relevant experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in computer forensics with a focus on supporting law enforcement investigations.
- Certifications: One or more of the following prior to starting:
- GIAC: GCFE GASF
- IACIS: CFCE ICMDE
- NCFI: BCERT MDE
- Opentext: EnCE
- Cellebrite: CCO & CCPA CCME
- Oxygen Forensics: OFC
- Demonstrated technical task management and supervisory experience.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- ActiveTopSecret security clearance.

Target Salary Range
$146000 - $234000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position the individuals experience education knowledge skills and competencies as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position employees may be eligible for overtime shift differential and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
