Job Summary

The Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of assigned clinic departments ensuring excellent patient service and delivery of care.

This is a full-time on-site role Monday - Friday with staffing on call responsibilities for OUC staffing working out of our Burnsville & Eagan locations.

Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health) a group of local medical practices owned and led by its physicians on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.

Essential Functions:

  • Effectively recruit train manage and retain employees
  • Responsible for the coordination of the weekly schedule for appropriate staff coverage
  • Operate as a liaison between management and clinic staff to ensure quality and efficiency of patient service. This may include meeting one-on-one with managers and/or staff to assess educate and review data on quality service teamwork and integrity relating to the work of clinic staff members.
  • Conduct frequent timely and appropriate communications with employees through meetings and one-on-one sessions; actively participate in meetings and other communications processes; share information timely accurately and completely with others as needed
  • Conduct annual reviews of direct reports including determination of any relevant compensation adjustments
  • Complete all payroll processes as needed in HRIS including leave of absences time off requests job changes department transfers terminations etc.
  • Occasionally participate in community functions relating to TCO outreach events throughout the year.
  • Any and all other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in related field or applicable experience
  • Minimum of 1 year supervisory/leadership experience. Healthcare setting preferred.
  • Working knowledge of all applicable laws regulations and guidelines

Benefits & Compensation:

  • Actual starting pay will vary based on education skills and experience.
  • A $1500.00 sign-on bonus will be offered payable on first paycheck with a 12-month commitment. Internal applicants are not eligible for a sign-on bonus.

Essential Requirements:

Ability to:

  • Comply with company policies procedures practices and business ethics guidelines.
  • Complete job required training.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations (e.g. HIPAA Stark OSHA employment laws etc.)
  • Demonstrate prompt and reliable attendance
  • Work in the clinic during business hours
  • Travel independently throughout the clinic (which may include movement from floor to floor); frequent bending lifting standing stooping or sitting for long periods of time may be required
  • Work at an efficient and productive pace handle interruptions appropriately and meet deadlines
  • Communicate and interact in a respectful and professional manner
  • Prioritize workload while being flexible to meet the expectations of the daily operations
  • Apply principles of logical thinking to define problems establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Understand and execute a variety of instructions
  • Effectively operate equipment and communicate on and operate the phone system
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Travel to other work locations if required
