Duties:
- Patient exam/evaluation ortho/neuro focused exams medical history HPI review imaging/records/results physical exam
- Order/take and review diagnostic and therapeutic imaging (x-ray fluoroscopy) and lab work
- Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation
- Patient education as to treatment options diagnosis DME and various modalities
- Perform treatments such as trigger point injections intra-joint injections arthrocentesis SPG blocks and soft tissue injections
- Manage Hormone replacement therapies
- Refer for physical therapy as needed
- Referring Neuropathic pain patients for in office services
- Order DME- Orthotics/Bracing
- Collaboration with other healthcare providers for comprehensive care
- Oversee MAs and techs
- Documentation- timely and accurate
- Active Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner license in VA
- Musculoskeletal experience
- Active DEA license
- Monday - Friday (Friday hours end at 1)
- $130k per year plus bonus compensation
- Vacation/PTO and paid holidays
- Professional advancement and training (trigger point injections joint injections. Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy Allergy Testing and Treatment PENS insertion neuromodulation treatment nerve blocks)
