Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in internal sales telesales or business development ideally within professional services training certification or assurance industries
- Strong consultative sales skills with the ability to uncover customer needs and match solutions effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills confident engaging with decision-makers across all levels
- Proficient in using CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce Dynamics HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Target-driven with a structured disciplined and results-focused approach
- Positive attitude resilience and enthusiasm for learning technical service offerings
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
As the Business Development Executive you will play a critical role in driving growth across our Business Assurance portfolio which includes certification training and related assurance services. This is an internal sales position focused on identifying qualifying and converting new business opportunities through proactive client engagement consultative selling and close collaboration with external sales marketing and operational teams.
Key activities:
- Proactively identify and qualify new sales opportunities through inbound and outbound channels
- Engage with prospective clients to understand their business needs challenges and compliance objectives
- Nurture leads from initial enquiry through to conversion maintaining high-quality follow-up and customer engagement
- Promote Business Assurance services including ISO Certification Audits and Training offerings
- Present the companys value proposition confidently and professionally to prospective clients via phone email and virtual meetings
- Prepare tailored proposals quotations and follow-up communications aligned to client requirements
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets for revenue conversion rates and opportunity generation
- Work closely with marketing to support campaigns lead nurturing and event follow-up activity
- Collaborate with technical delivery and customer service teams to ensure smooth handover of confirmed work
- Partner with external Business Development Managers to coordinate pipeline activity and share market intelligence
- Provide feedback on market trends competitor activity and customer needs to support continuous improvement
- Generate and interpret CRM reports to track performance against KPIs and identify areas for improvement
