What Youll Do
TheMedical Assistant plays a vital role on our healthcare team providing both administrative and clinical support to ensure smooth operations and quality patient will providedirect compassionate and professional medical care to patients visitingour After Hours Careandassistin all aspects of medical practice under the supervision of a medical provider.
- Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients.
- Interviews patients measures vital signs (i.e. pulse rate temperature blood pressure weight and height) and records or inputs information to patients medical records.
- Administersimmunizations.
- May be required to draw and collect blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
- Participatesin frequent interaction with patients regarding all levels of concerns and questions.
- Keepsup-to-date on public health policies and procedures.
Who Were Looking For
- Courses or experiences showing commitment reliability or work ethic
- Brings Certified Medical Assistant/Registered Medical Assistant experience but well consider all experiences
- Speaks both English and Spanish to better serve our community but not required
- Must have current American Heart Association BLS card within 3 months of initial employment and maintain current status throughout GRHD employment.
What We Offer
- $18.50 - $29.72Dependent on experience may vary outside this range
- Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors including a candidates qualifications skills competencies and experience
