Job Summary

For Linklaters Office in Warsaw we are currently recruiting for the General Ledger Specialist role.

Your role

  • Calculate prepare and post specific and ad-hoc journal entries as part of Month End Close and day to day operations

  • Prepare Bank Reconciliations and Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations (Assets and Liability accounts)

  • Maintain Fixed Asset Registers and calculate and post monthly depreciation charges

  • Responsible for performing Month End Close activities in line with global and office specific policies

  • Ensure that service quality is maintained in performing daily operations within global General Ledger Department

  • Build excellent working relationships with the Finance and Shared Service staff in the local offices

  • Maintain high quality process documentation

Your experience

  • 1-2 years of professional experience in finance (preferably in AP AR CA or GL Department within SSC/BPOs)

  • Masters Degree in Finance and Accounting or related faculty additional accounting qualifications nice to have

  • Knowledge of general accounting principles practices and procedures

  • Understanding of SLAs KPIs process documentation SOPs

  • Office skills: SAP Microsoft office high competence in MS Excel

  • Fluent English
