Position Summary | This position is responsible for daily oversight of the Directors of our CKF Clinical Programs. This position works to ensure that each program is functioning at its highest level and patients are receiving a quality service. This position will be responsible for ensuring that the programs are following all guidelines and meeting standards. This position will report to the Chief Clinical and Compliance Officer and will be part of the Executive Team. This position will require regular scheduled travel to the different locations of CKF Clinical Programs. |
Essential Duties and Responsibilities | - Oversight of CKF Clinical Programming including Bridgehouse Residential/Detox Outpatient Services Assessment Services and Peer Based Services.
- Develop revise and implement treatment plans and other clinical documentation.
- Interviews patients review records and confers with other professionals to assess and monitor patient progress and treatment goals.
- Refers patients to other support services as needed such as medical evaluation and treatment social services and employment services. Assists patients with completing appropriate referral to clinically indicated services.
- Sign off on clinical diagnosis for patients and ensure the diagnosis is appropriate.
- Prepares and maintains reports and case histories.
- Counsels patient and or family members in crisis as needed.
- Assesses and refers patients to other mental and physical health services as indicated.
- Reviews and updates any diagnostic criteria completed or completes new diagnostic criteria if indicated.
- Understands and implements all TAP 21 Addiction Counseling Competencies.
- Complies with all policies and procedures related to clinical licensure.
- Participates in utilization review activities as required.
- Maintains patients files in a site visit ready manner.
- Prepare attend and participate in regular employee individual and department group supervision.
- Participate in and lead clinical team meetings feedback sessions and ongoing professional development.
- Participate in leadership team meetings and strategic planning.
- Assist with preparation of KDADS and CARF site visits; ensure clinical programs are kept in a site visit ready manner at all times.
- Provides direct supervision and oversight to Program Directors to ensure programs are in compliance and staffing needs are met.
- Provides regular visits to clinical programs to meet with staff and provide support.
- Ensures staffing needs of clinical programs are met and fulfilled.
- Attends conference and community events to discuss CKFs services and resources.
- Meets with community leaders to ensure programs and staff are effectively communicating to ensure positive collaborations between agencies.
- Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities | This position does have supervisory responsibilities; including but not limited to employee training discipline and supervision. Supervisory responsibilities are conducted within the scope of company policies and procedures. |

Education and Experience | Masters Degree (M.A.) or equivalent in Counseling Social Work Psychology or Related Field. Five or more years of experience working in addiction healthcare. Prior supervisory experience and knowledge of KDADS standards preferred. |
Certificates Licenses and Registrations | - Current valid Kansas Drivers License.
- Licensed by the State of Kansas Behavioral Science Regulatory Board as a Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC) Licensed Master Addiction Counselor (LMAC) or Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor (LCAC).
- Clinically Licensed through the Kansas Behavioral Sciences and Regulatory Board.
