Position Summary:
The Line Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality dishes according to recipe and presentation standards. This position plays a key role in maintaining kitchen efficiency cleanliness and teamwork. The ideal candidate is dependable organized works well under pressure and takes pride in their craft.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items on the line in accordance with Tin Lizzys recipes and standards.
Set up workstations and ensure all ingredients and equipment are stocked and ready for service.
Execute food orders consistently quickly and with careespecially during peak hours.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with health department guidelines.
Follow proper food handling labeling and storage procedures.
Assist in receiving rotation and stocking of inventory.
Communicate effectively with team members and support a positive kitchen environment.
Uphold safety standards and immediately report any equipment or kitchen issues.
Work as a team to ensure guests receive high-quality food and timely service.
Qualifications:
Prior line cook or kitchen experience preferred but we are willing to train the right person.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
Strong attention to detail and consistency.
Ability to stand bend and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
Flexible availability including evenings weekends and holidays.
A positive attitude and commitment to teamwork.
