Job Summary
The Wellsite Drilling Engineer provides onsite engineering support to the offshore team. Contributes to safe and cost-effective execution of all offshore drilling and completion operations.
Main Tasks
- Provides day-to-day onsite monitoring and reporting of rig-based well activities ensuring operations comply with clients and Rig Contractor Management Systems
- Liaises with the Drilling Contractor and third-party service contractors to ensure operations are performed in accordance with the drilling/completion program detailed operating procedures and relevant guidelines in a safe and cost-effective manner
- Provides engineering support to the Company drilling supervisor
- Ensures accurate and timely reporting regarding operations equipment and performance evaluation
- Captures operational lessons learned for continuous performance improvement
Qualifications
- Relevant . degree relevant experience can compensate for education
- Sound technical understanding of D&W planning and operations
- 5 years of relevant experience
