What you will do in this role:
Essential Functions:
Maintains overall responsibility for all aspects of operations.
Responsible for hiring training supervision when required and evaluation of all unit staff.
Participates in providing care as needed and ensures services are carried out and documented appropriately.
Participate in hospital/ unit and/or administrator on call schedule accordingly.
Assures that all policies established by the Governing Body are implemented and followed appropriately.
Assists in the strategic planning as appropriate.
Participates in facility growth and outreach department in the marketing for programs with input and direction from divisional vice president (BH).
Provides input on annual budget for program in conjunction with divisional team showing the expected revenue and expenditures as required by the board.
Oversees unit-based activities related to behavioral health including administration of care productivity and compliance with furnished policies and procedures.
Supports facility-based initiatives and functions related to federal state and local laws regulations and ordinances.
Consults with leaders on a regular basis; evaluates leadership competence and makes changes as necessary; keeps lines of communication open; works with hospital leadership to foster high employee morale and a positive work environment for employees.
