POSITION: Student Services Coordinator

BUILDING: Administration Office

Assignment: 191 Days (plus up to 10 Additional Summer Days)

Job Summary:

• Support the overall management of the districts Elementary and/or Secondary Student Services/Special Education Program including staff needs curriculum materials and student case management.
• Assist the department in maintaining compliance with state and federal Student Services/Special Education laws.
• Provide coaching and mentoring for Special Education teachers with a focus on newly hired staff.
• Support teachers in case management compliance and instructional planning.
• Maintain working knowledge of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and serve as a resource for both special and general education staff regarding behavior supports.
• Collaborate with department leadership to plan and facilitate professional development and department meetings.
• Serve as a technical resource by responding to questions and emails related to Student Services/Special Education programs procedures and compliance requirements.
• Contribute to summer planning and preparation for the upcoming school year (10 additional days beyond the standard teacher contract).
