CIs interdisciplinary therapy team focuses on the unique needs of each child. Position Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct an efficient and high quality intake process for new returning and current families.
- Meet with families for consult appointments; mobile out to regional clinic locations or connect virtually via video or phone call.
- Assist families in determining the best services for their child.
- Collect intake paperwork from family and create/update chart accordingly.
- Communicate with Referral Coordinator to ensure appropriate script received from PCP.
- Collaborate with billing and insurance team to obtain initial authorizations for services.
- Share incoming client info with Clinic Director for scheduling purposes.
- Check in and provide updates to family consistently throughout the process.
- Guarantee a positive customer service experience for all clients and families interacted with.
- Document all communication and updates throughout the intake process.
- Respond to all communication within 24 (business) hours.
- Consistently meet documentation requirements and have impeccable documentation as applicable to the role.
- Collaborate with other department team members as needed.
- Engage in clinic and/or department activities such as clinic or team meetings and staff training days as applicable.
- Assist Clinic Directors with front desk operations (including clinic phones) as schedule allows.
- Support with CI operator phone line in times of need routing calls to appropriate recipients.
- Maintain a clean and functional work space(s).
- Uphold CI Missions and values and follows CI policies & procedures as outlined in the employee handbook processes manuals and other internal documents/forms of communication.
- Assist with CI special events and programs.
What youll need to be successful in this role:
- Strong professional and adaptable communication skills based on the nature of the conversation/audience including the ability to navigate challenging conversations in a clear empathetic solutions-focused manner.
- Excellent organizational planning and attention to detail.
- Ability to critically think and use problem solving skills in a proactive innovative and solutions-focused way
- Ability to work independently take initiative and make sound decisions
- Confident and successful in leading engaging and motivating a team in a fun functional and strengths-focused manner.
- Have a general understanding of company policies and processes and the importance or why behind addition be committed to providing feedback and helping build company policies & processes in the best interest of our team clients and company as a whole.
- Thorough understanding of the CI mission values professional representation and company brand. Executes 4 keys in daily work ethic.
- Commitment to CIs values company goals and team growth and engagement events.
- Successful time management skills with the ability to prioritize and thoroughly complete multiple work assignments in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate continued dedication to CI position expectations and team members.
- Maintain an up to date CPR certification.
- Ability to collaborate with a team environment
- Ability to organize and plan work flows
- Multiple work assignments - capable of successfully handling various and sundry tasks
- Proactive - takes initiative to get things done without prompting
Working Conditions:
- Clinic/office setting: Minimum of 2 days per week on-site.
- Working Hours generally fall between 8am-6pm Monday-Friday.
- Full-time only
- Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to move individuals and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Must be physically able to work around small children including sitting standing running bending etc.
