We use proteomic sciences to discover protein biomarkers aiding research for personalized medicine.

Discover Impactful Work:

As a Sr Project Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific you will lead and deliver projects that are critical to our mission. Your work will directly contribute to advancing personalized medicine and other groundbreaking scientific endeavors.

A day in the Life:

  • Lead large-scale projects involving product development discontinuation CAPEX or software development

  • Develop and implement project processes while training team members

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Product Management R&D SW DS Operations and Marketing

Keys to Success:

  • Solid track record to lead projects to successful implementation within set schedules quality standards and budgets

  • Effective collaboration with internal and external collaborators ensuring smooth communication and project alignment

  • Continually improve educate and lead within project processes providing training and support to project members

Education

  • Relevant degree in Engineering Life Sciences Business or related field (BSc MSc PhD or equivalent experience)

  • Certification in Project Management (e.g. PMP IPMA) is a plus

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience

  • Extensive experience running complex and resource-intensive projects involving at least 15 resources

  • Experience working in large complex environments

Knowledge Skills Abilities

  • Strong ability to interact in Swedish and English both written and spoken

  • Enterprising adaptable curious and committed with a solution-focused approach

  • Strong teammate who can adapt communication styles based on the audience

  • Ability to act as a sounding board and support coworkers with brainstorming solutions and strategies

This role is based in our Uppsala Sweden office. It requires the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with occasional travel to meet project needs.
