Job Summary
Job Description:
Essential Job Functions:Support a team of software engineers in the development of software products and solutions providing guidance code reviews and technical with cross-functional teams to define project requirements ensuring the successful delivery of software in the professional growth and mentorship of team members through regular feedback coaching and career development to the execution of the software engineering strategy participating in strategic discussions and technology project tasks and assignments helping to prioritize and plan work to meet project project timelines resource allocation and budgets to ensure efficient project identify and mitigate project risks working to resolve issues as they a culture of innovation collaboration and continuous learning within the team.Basic Qualifications:Bachelors degree in a relevant field (i.e. Computer Science) or equivalent combination of education and experienceTypically 6 years of relevant work experience in industry with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role years of experience in software engineeringProficiency in 1 or more software languages and development methodologies Strong programming and debugging skillsSome prior experience in a leadership or mentoring capacityFamiliarity with software development methodologies and best practicesGood communication and teamwork skillsWillingness to learn and grow in a leadership roleStrong organizational and time management skillsOther Qualifications:Advanced degree in a related field is a plusRelevant certifications or training a plus
