Technical Support Officer

Do you have an interest in how the county of East Sussex will develop and change over time If so an important interesting and varied service support role has become available in the Councils Planning and Environment Service.

The Technical Support Officer provides administrative support to the Planning and Environment Service. The role is responsible for maintaining our planning records undertaking performance reporting budget monitoring and being the first point of contact for customer enquiries. This role would benefit candidates who have an interest in the built and natural environment and may be wanting to develop some knowledge within this interesting sector.

We are looking for candidates who have:

• The ability to communicate effectively with a range of people in a clear concise and accurate manner
• Developed ICT skills including the ability to accurately input and check data
• The ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team
• Knowledge of Data Protection regulations and a commitment to maintain confidentiality.
