We are seeking a dedicated Family Support Worker to join our Interventions Hub a crucial component in providing timely assistance to families. Our focus is on developing early intervention and prevention services to ensure families receive appropriate support reducing the need for statutory social work intervention. This role is vital in working with children young people and their families to enhance parenting skills and improve the life prospects of children and young people.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver services that empower parents to enhance their childs health and development.
- Work collaboratively with families to build parenting capacity.
- Provide tiered support to prevent the need for statutory social work intervention.
- Collaborate with team members and work independently as required.
- Maintain flexibility in work hours to meet the needs of families.
Requirements
- Experience working with children young people and their families.
- Commitment to improving the life chances of children and young people.
- Self-motivated and well-organized.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Possession of a full valid driving license and sole use of a vehicle.
Required Skills:
Requirements: Proven experience in quality assurance and reviewing services for children and young people Strong understanding of statutory and regulatory safeguarding requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Commitment to championing the rights and well-being of children and young people
