Senior business analysis with business architecture and strategic planning expertise

POSITION: Contract: 01 January 2026 31 December 2026

EXPERIENCE: 10 years in business analysis and transformation projects

COMMENCEMENT: 01 January 2026

LOCATION: Hybrid: Midrand/Menlyn/Rosslyn/Home Office rotation

TEAM: Sales Offer and Contracting (SOCo)

SOCO offers one intuitive omnichannel vehicle sales & contract validation process journey integrated into a standardized Group application landscape so that the customer can have one flexible & safe & cost efficient vehicle purchasing experience: with all Group brands in all markets and for all sales models.

Qualifications / Experience

Minimum mandatory qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in business administration Information Technology or related field
  • 10 years experience in this field
  • Proven track record of leading successful business transformation projects

Advantageous experience:

  • Experience in the automotive industry
  • Experience with digital transformation projects
  • Experience in change management
  • Agile working experience (any framework)

Essential Skills Requirements

Business Analysis Core:

  • Extensive experience in business architecture / processes and business analysis
  • Proficiency in business process modelling and optimization
  • Experience with strategic planning and execution
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage complex projects and initiatives

Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and mentor teams
  • Knowledge of IT governance and compliance
  • Working experience with agile methodologies and practices

Supervision: Completely independent worker that will only escalate tasks that are complex and outside of their span of control. May need to lead individual members of a team of Entry and Advanced level experts

Problem solving: Improve a product or a system that already exists by making conceptual changes and enhancements. Can manage the solution for complex problems that may require simple solutions but affect multiple systems

Communication: Influence (Effect change without direct exercise of command where persuasion is required and reaching buy-in might be difficult). Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent organizational and presentation skills. Willingness to engage with international customers and navigate potential language barriers

Delivery: Specify new products processes standards based on organization strategy or set short- to mid-term operational plans. The requests are often unclear and will need substantial investigation to ensure that the specifics are well understood by all parties. Employee may be expected to provide guidance to lower-level employees

Knowledge: Functional expert - Mastery of a specific professional discipline combining deep knowledge of theory and organizational practice

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to work interdependently and to submit deliverables on time and with excellent quality
  • Self-starter
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and written) on technical and non-technical level

  • Familiarity with databases cloud computing and IT infrastructure

Role Requirements

Business Architecture & Process Design:

  • Design and optimize business processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements and objectives
  • Ensure alignment of business architecture with enterprise architecture
  • Identify and assess business risks and opportunities

Requirements Management:

  • Requirements management communication and organisation
  • Document requirements in appropriate detailed user stories on JIRA (Agile methodology) including acceptance criteria for testers
  • Preparation/ updating of other relevant documentation
  • Assisting with the business case where required

Stakeholder & Team Leadership:

  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders and team members
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives where required
