Business Development Manager

Fully remote position (South Africa based)
Work hours: U.S. EST business hours

Role Overview

The primary role of the Business Development Manager is to work within the organizations established sales methodology to proactively solicit and secure new clients for the firm. This role operates under the guidance of company leadership who will support professional development assist with prospective client activities and monitor progress against defined targets.

The Business Development Manager will be assigned an Industry Vertical and Client Portfolio with the goal of consistently generating 24 fully qualified new client opportunities per week.

Core Responsibilities

  • Conduct an average of 150 outbound calls per day to initiate meaningful conversations with target prospects about the firms recruitment services

  • Leverage company tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and ZoomInfo to identify client contacts and build targeted prospect lists with accurate contact information

  • Research prospective client companies to gain a clear understanding of their business operations and hiring needs

  • Ensure accurate and professional representation of the firms recruitment capabilities

  • Use resources such as YouTube ChatGPT and Google to build expertise in industrial sector recruitment and client industries

  • Meet with leadership every Monday morning to set weekly goals and review performance from the prior week

  • Secure 24 qualified new client opportunities each week
