Job Summary

Job Title: QA Automation Tester

Location: Stamford CT (Hybrid)

Experience:

* 8 years of total QA experience with a strong focus on functional Automation testing.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in Leading QA activities including test planning execution and reporting.
* Proven experience in Functional Test Automation with a focus on designing robust test strategies and frameworks.
* Exposure to test management and defect tracking tools like JIRA Octane or similar.

Technical Skills:

* Strong QA automation experience (using tools like Selenium TestNG Cucumber framework.)
* Understanding of self-healing test automation techniques.)
* Test Planning & Strategy
* Defect Management & Root Cause Analysis
* Agile Testing Methodology
* Automation Frameworks: Selenium TestNG or similar
* Basic understanding of AI-driven quality assurance approaches.
* Methodical and systematic approach to testing.
* Experience with REST API automation tools such as Rest or Postman.
* Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
* Test Management Tools: JIRA TestRail Octane.
* Version Control: Git Bitbucket
* CI/CD Integration: Jenkins AWS DevOps (basic understanding preferred)

Good to have skills:

*Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
* Experience in performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter LoadRunner)
* Exposure to API testing tools (Postman SoapUI or REST Assured)
* Understanding of DevOps and QAOps practices
* Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure) for test environments
* ISTQB or equivalent QA certification
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience in Telecom projects is a strong plus.
