Job Summary
Description
We are seeking a skilled and hands-on CNC Programmer and Operator to join a well-established stone manufacturing company in Kempton Park.
The role involves programming setting up and operating a 5-axis CNC machine to cut and shape high-quality granite and marble for commercial and residential projects.Key Responsibilities:
- Program set up and operate a 5-axis CNC machine for stone cutting
- Read and interpret CAD drawings and specifications
- Prepare load and position materials safely on the CNC machine
- Ensure quality and precision of finished products
- Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of CNC machinery
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production deadlines
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience as a CNC Operator/Programmer preferably in the stone or glass industry
- Exposure to Bavelloni or similar CNC machinery
- CNC or CAD certificate from a technical or private college (Matric not required)
- Strong understanding of CAD/CAM programming
