Join WDFW and help ensure hatchery operations run smoothly and efficiently across Washington.
As part of the Capital and Asset Management Program (CAMP) youll play an essential role in maintaining the water alarm and control systems that support fish hatcheries statewide.
In this role youll assist in building testing and maintaining the mechanical electronic and electrical controls that keep our facilities operating safely and reliably.
Each day brings new challenges and opportunities to grow your technical skills while supporting WDFWs mission to protect and enhance Washingtons fish wildlife and ecosystems.

Schedule:
This position is full-time working 40 hours per week. The standard work schedule includes the potential for occasional evening or weekend work as needed. Alternative schedules may be considered based on business needs.
Travel Requirements:
Travel required 60-80% depending on season.
Tools and Equipment:
Basic hand tools power tools such as drills roto hammers cut off saws circular saws metal band saws impact drivers pipe benders and threaders powered motors automotive equipment and trailers. Equipment such as milling machines sand blaster parts washer hydraulic punch and metal lathes.
Customer Interactions:
Frequent interactions varying between Federal Local Inter-Agency and Intra-Agency customers and vendors.
