Our Client a leading company within the Freight and Transportation Industry is looking for a General Manager is responsible for improving efficiency and increasing company profits while managing the companys overall activities. He is also responsible for running day-to-day company activities guiding and executing business strategies including hiring and measuring staff performance tracking cash flow and driving sales targets. Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily operations of the Kago platform ensuring efficiency in linking transporters with clients.

- Recruit train and manage a high-performing team across various departments including finance operations sales and marketing customer service and technology.
- Foster a culture of collaboration innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and transporters to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
- Address customer queries or issues promptly to enhance service quality.
- Gather feedback from users to inform product development and service enhancements.
- Prepare budgets forecasts and financial reports to monitor business performance.
- Manage costs effectively while maximising revenue through strategic pricing models for services offered.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with IT teams to enhance platform functionality ensuring a seamless user experience for both transporters and clients.

Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Logistics Management or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management roles; prior experience as a General Manager is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of e-logistics platforms and technology-driven solutions in transportation management.
- Excellent leadership skills with proven ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively.
